Veselin Cerović

Veselin Cerović has appeared in numerous criminal cases before the Court of First Instance, the Court of Second Instance and the Appellate Court. For more than two decades, Mr. Cerović has successfully defended his clients. In 2012 he was included in a circle of prominent Serbian lawyers.

He distinguished himself as defense attorney of the General Director of "Borska Banka", who was facing accusations of abuse of official status.

In other cases of public interest, perhaps the most memorable was his role as one of Slobodan Miloševic’s attorneys in the procedure of extradition to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia at the Hague. It was Mr. Cerović’s brilliant legal arguments which prevented the extradition of Miladin Kovačević to the United States of America.
